Kenoza Hall | May 21 + 22, 2027
Leah and Noam, thank you so much for taking the time to chat tonight!! We’re incredibly excited to share more about what a collaboration might look like for your wedding weekend on May 21st + 22nd. We're especially drawn to your vision of blending the character of the Catskills with a little of New York City's edge. We're so excited to see how that contrast comes to life throughout the weekend!
Below, you’ll find a bit more about how we see and photograph a wedding, along with a proposal for your weekend. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. We’re always happy to adjust things as your plans take shape.
Thank you both so much for your consideration!
xx

“You represented us so completely, while still capturing all of our loved ones in such a meaningful way. It’s as though you were able to read our minds about the people who are most important, and made sure the camera lens found them through every possible experience of the weekend. And the portraits of us throughout captured such range of emotions. The wonder, intimacy, depth, hilarity! These photos will allow us to access so many parts of our weekend forever.”

“The real magic of your craft is how your photos feel. I think the word is transporting. The light, the color, the energy, and the movement. Each shot brings us back to the micro-emotions of every single moment of that day. The best day of our lives. That’s a gift we’ll never be able to thank you enough for.”

Creative Partnership
We’ve been married for over a decade and collaborators for even longer. We work from two distinct perspectives, shaped by our individual instincts and styles, but always working toward a shared vision. We move through the day in pursuit of its truth, scanning for connection, anticipating the moment before it arrives. Our main objective is to make photographs that hold the authenticity of a moment and return its feeling back to you.
What does it feel like to be somewhere beautiful with the people you love?
We photograph weddings as places to inhabit rather than events to witness - paying as much attention to atmosphere, architecture, and landscape as we do to the people within them. The photographs become a record not only of what happened, but of what it was like to be there.
On Being There
An Observational Approach
With a background in fine art and creative collaboration, our work is rooted in observation over orchestration. Even when a moment calls for direction - adjusting a pose, shifting light, offering guidance, it’s done without asking you to perform. Our role is to shape without intruding, to keep the image true to how it felt.
Next Steps.
We hope this proposal offers a thoughtful introduction to what working together could look like. As you review, we're always happy to answer questions, explore the details further, or make adjustments as your plans take shape.
If you'd like to move forward, we'll put together a formal agreement and everything needed to reserve your date.
As artists, it means so much to be considered for something this personal. We'd truly love to be part of your weekend. Thank you both so much for considering us!
xx,
Marisa and John
