“You represented us so completely, while still capturing all of our loved ones in such a meaningful way. It’s as though you were able to read our minds about the people who are most important, and made sure the camera lens found them through every possible experience of the weekend. And the portraits of us captured such range of emotions. The wonder, intimacy, depth, hilarity! These photos will allow us to access so many parts of our weekend forever.”

- Katherine and Brian | Private Residence, NY

“The real magic of your craft is how your photos feel. I think the word is transporting. The light, the color, the energy, and the movement. Each shot brings us back to the micro-emotions of every single moment of that day. The best day of our lives. That’s a gift we’ll never be able to thank you enough for.”

– Rachel and Conor | The DeBruce, NY

Creative Partnership

We’ve been married for a decade and collaborators for even longer. We work from two distinct perspectives, shaped by our individual instincts and styles, always working toward a shared vision. We move through the day in constant pursuit of its truth, scanning for connection, anticipating the moment before it arrives. Our main objective is to make photographs that hold the authenticity of a moment and return its feeling back to you.

Editorial and Documentary

Some parts of the day call for a bit of direction, thoughtful use of light, composition, and styling. Others are better left alone. We move between the two instinctually, knowing when to step in and when to let the rest unfold around us. That balance allows us to create images that feel both honest and refined, without ever forcing the moment.

An Observational Approach

With a background in fine art and creative collaboration, our work is rooted in observation over orchestration. Even when a moment calls for direction - adjusting a pose, shifting light, offering guidance, it’s done without asking you to perform. Our role is to shape without intruding, to keep the image true to how it felt.

Next Steps.

When you’ve had a chance to look everything over, please reach out with any questions, we’re always happy to talk through the details and adjust things so they feel like the right fit for your wedding.

Thank you for considering us to be part of such an important milestone. It would be a joy to document this next chapter of your story!

xx,
Marisa and John
