Rahul and Carla,

We’re so excited to share more about our work and what a collaboration might look like for your wedding at The Horticulture Center and Penn Museum in Philadelphia on May 9th 2026! We can’t wait to hear more about your plans and the feeling you hope to create throughout your wedding day. Thank you so much for your thoughtful consideration! xx Marisa and John

Fifteen years behind the camera have taught us to trust our instincts and work with purpose, moving between film and digital, letting each frame be shaped by the light and the energy of what’s unfolding. The photographs we love most are the unscripted moments that bring the day rushing back, because feeling is everything.

“The real magic of your craft is how your photos feel. I think the word is transporting. The light, the color, the energy, and the movement. Each shot brings us back to the micro-emotions of every single moment of that day. The best day of our lives. That’s a gift we’ll never be able to thank you enough for.”

Creative Partnership

We’ve been married for a decade and collaborators for even longer. We work from two distinct perspectives, shaped by our individual instincts and styles, but always working toward a shared vision. We move through the day in constant pursuit of its truth, scanning for connection, anticipating the moment before it arrives. Our main objective is to make photographs that hold the authenticity of a moment and return its feeling back to you.

Editorial Meets Documentary

Some parts of the day call for a bit of direction, thoughtful use of light, composition, and styling. Others are better left alone. We move between the two instinctually, knowing when to step in and when to let the rest unfold around us. That balance allows us to create images that feel both honest and refined, without ever forcing the moment.

An Observational Approach

With a background in fine art and creative collaboration, our work is rooted in observation over orchestration. Even when a moment calls for direction - adjusting a pose, shifting light, offering guidance, it’s done without asking you to perform. Our role is to shape without intruding to keep the image true to how it felt.

Next Steps.

When you’ve had a chance to look everything over, please reach out with any questions or thoughts, we’re always happy to talk through the details and adjust things so they feel right for you.

Thank you for considering us to be part of such an important moment. It would be an honor to document this next chapter of your story!

xo,
Marisa and John
